How to use your essential oils

For a diffuser, add a few drops of your chosen oil or combination of oils according to the diffuser manufacturer’s instructions.

For an oil burner, fill the bowl with water before adding a few drops of essential oil. Use with a suitable tealight and never leave a lit candle unattended.

For topical use, always dilute the essential oil safely in a suitable carrier oil before applying it to the skin. For a 1% adult dilution, add approximately one drop of essential oil to every 5ml of carrier oil. Complete a patch test before wider use.

Do not apply essential oils undiluted, swallow them or allow them to come into contact with the eyes. Keep away from children and pets. Seek professional advice before use during pregnancy, with medical conditions or around young children.
